WHAT IS BOTOX?

Botox’s active ingredient is known as the botulinum toxin-A, and once injected into the muscle tissue beneath the skin’s surface will prevent the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from within the endings of our muscles – causing temporary paralysis of these facial muscles, which will then allow the skin to smooth out over time, and those surface wrinkles to dissipate.
